JBF Express is looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a company where teamwork and customer service matter.
Every day is different. You'll be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, receiving inbound freight, consolidating shipments for Canada, and helping keep our warehouse running efficiently. When needed, you'll also assist with moving equipment and trailers around our yard.
What You'll Do
- Pick and pack customer orders using handheld RF scanners.
- Receive, inspect, and organize inbound freight.
- Build and consolidate northbound Canada shipments.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Verify product quantities and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training available if needed).
- Help move trucks and trailers within the yard when operational needs require (qualified employees only).
- Work closely with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure on-time shipments.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- CDL Class A or B is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
